We had a good turnout for the belated June litterpick. Even though eight of our regulars couldn’t come, we still had 11 litterpickers. The woodlands, though naturally looking very beautiful, were spoiled by the huge amount of rubbish left after the after-exam rave. We love people to come and have fun in the woodlands. They belong to the whole community, so please respect nature and take your rubbish home. We hope to have some oil drums at the sand pit for bottles, cans, and plastic in the not too distant future, which will make it easy for the revellers among you to comply.
Well done and thank you to Riley who was a great help, look forward to seeing you next time
the sandpit after 2 hours of concentrated litterpicking and broken glass removal, looking half tidy, we even raked it!
We have lots of other things going on as well. Please message or email Susy if you have availability and are interested in volunteering with us at info@sirhowyhillwoodlands.co.uk.
