We had a great week in Bargoed.

Susy, Gwynfor, Dave, Lloyd and Ken booked on the Elwy Working with wood course to make a timber frame for Coed Cymru’s staff composting toilet block at the Royal Welsh Showground.

Sadly Ken was unwell and not able to make it, he would have loved it! All mortise and tenon joints made by ourselves with oak pegs which we also made, not a nail in sight!

Adrian, Joe and Fred Farey from Elwy Working Woods were brilliant tutors and had the patience of Job!

We disassembled the frame; ready to ship to builth wells.
